Go Bulldogs....WHAT?!

Last summer we went on a world wind college tour of two Universities…that’s right, TWO: Clemson and Coastal Carolina. If Hannah Grace was accepted to both, I wasn’t sure how she would decide between the two. That was the summer, though, and boy did she have us all fooled. Little did we know, Hannah Grace signed up for a golf recruitment program in August.  She began receiving emails daily, but only one school stuck out: Georgia Military College.  For those wondering: no military service is required. The process began with emails that led to a Skype call that led to a visit over our Christmas trip to the states that ultimately led to her signing her letter of intent.

Hannah Grace has always loved being a part of a team. For the one semester of 9th grade at Seneca, she joined the varsity golf team.  She adored her teammates and coaches…and I believe the feeling was mutual.  From the time she set foot on Brent’s campus, her coaches welcomed her with open arms. They have taught her so much in sports, but even more importantly, in life. I have no doubt that Coach Gillespie and the staff at GMC will have that same impact. This mama could not be more proud of her child that took matters into her own hands and made things happen, just as she wanted. Your future looks bright, baby girl! Go get ‘em!

Hannah Grace's time at Brent would not have been the same without this sweet soul there to guide and love her.

The internet can be an absolute disaster in the Philippines. The night of our first Skype call with Coach Gillespie, our internet wasn't just slow, it quit working altogether. We rushed to our sweet friends house and made the call....trying to not wake their kiddos!

Headed out to play at Reynolds Plantation with Coach Gillespie. Nothing like having to perform with jet lag (we landed 24 hours prior).

Hannah Grace is so lucky to have such a talented friend (Hylton) to mentor her on the golf course.
